Live Online sessions on wiziq introducing the WebQuest for instruction and learning. Sessions will be available from July 11-July 15, 2008
Engage your students in experiential (hands on) learning activities that promote social skills via teamwork, higher order critical thinking skills via inquiry and problem-based learning, and technological skills via the Internet and Microsoft applications. Motivate your students to become lifelong learners by using WebQuests. WebQuests are problem-based learning activities that engage students in learning.
Presenter: Nellie Deutsch of Integrating Technology: Exploring New Domains (Moodle Courses)
Nellie Deutsch is a Canadian high school English teacher (EFL/ESL) and a doctoral student of educational leadership specializing in curriculum and instruction at the University of Phoenix online.
Nellie is consultant on e-learning (web 2.0 tools for instruction and learning), professional development, and integrating technology into the curriculum. In her free time, she helps educators become aware of the value of integrating web 2.0 tools for instruction and learning. Nellie does this on a voluntary basis because she is passionate about learning and would like to see e-learning available and free worldwide.
